Dumans Daytona race (PLEASE READ IF RACING THIS THUSDAY)

Ok it really important you read the following as we won’t be letting people off for not following the following rules for this Thursday’s race!

1. Please take it easy on the first lap (not just the first corner)
It’s a 2hr race and if you make contact with another car any more than a rub or gentle tap you will be penalized.

2. You need to have two wheels on the track (preferably 4) at all times.
If you cut the corners more than once or twice (especially the chicane) you will be penalized

3. Use the correct exit to the pits
If you don’t know the correct exit ask in practice on the night

4. Watch your mirrors and don’t dive bomb into corners
GT and LMP cars have different corner speeds so please be careful when overtaking or being overtaken.

5. Have Fun (If we find out you were not having fun you will be penalized)
If you get stuck on the track down the back remember its and enduro which means if you keep it clean you will rise back up to the top as anything can happen in 2 hrs 

Also just another note I will be strict with the timing of race start at 9pm as we don’t want to be racing till midnight.
Practice 7:45-8:15pm
Drivers briefing 8:15pm
Qual 8:25pm (25min 12min per series)
Warm up(toilet/drink etc) 8:50-9pm
Race 9-11pm

What about the passing between the GT and LMP1 cars? Do GT's hold the racing line and the LMP1's have to go around?

Yes Gt cars should hold there race line and its up to the lmp1 car to drive around. Although if you are being lapped you may get the blue flag and a stop go if you hold up a lapping car (LMP or GT) for too long.

If you are in an LMP please pick your time to pass and dont just dive in and expect the GT car to see you. If you do this you will get a penalty.
